Jim is a senior software consultant, formerly with a very large computer corporation. He is very experienced in Common Lisp, and metaobject programming. Since early 2010, he has been programming an app for iOS using Objective C. He has reimplemented it in WebKit (JavaScript/HTML/CSS). The same code (90%) runs on iOS, and Windows, Mac and Linux desktops. He expects it to run just as well on Android and other mobile devices.

Jim is also a linguist, speaking English, French and German, a teacher, technical writer, and QA engineer, He likes to walk, be it through cities or the countryside.
